Day Sixty Seven - My Blue Bike

Posted by Picasa

Bam! This is my brand new to me bike! I found it at the "exchange" for FREE!! That's right, super duper cool free new bike. It needed a lil work, but hey, it was way worth it for my sick island cruiser!

AND, it's blue! My summer color is blue. I decided this morning on my way to work, wearing blue pants, a blue sweatshirt, blue earrings (yes i wear earrings sometimes) and sporting my bad ass blue bike! The sky was bright Blue! and I was feeling very sunshiny :) not blue ;)

Day Sixty Three - Collection Yard

Posted by Picasa

Back Up!! I didn't miss a day I swear!! Blogger was down and would not let me post yesterday, so I am doing two in one day.
This is the beast... it actually runs! What a truck, what a junk yard! Jack, a 3 year old, took me for a walk through is dads "collection" yard and this is one of the amazing finds. Old, big, jenky and it's got a million memories, I'm sure. The everyday detail in the everyday thing is what I love.

La Ponite, WI. Watching a thunderstorm roll in. I feel like landscapes might fill my work for awhile. It is so gorgeous and real out here. 400 people population and I'm loving it. Sixty days in a d here I am, at Tom's Burnt Down Cafe, blogging after a hard days work and a few beers and shots. I'm enjoying life. I want to see everything. This is new living and I love it.
